Working Hard and Playing Harder

I hope I lose weight from not getting enough sleep.

I was up from 4 PM, Saturday until 1 AM, Monday. That's about 33 hours of being up and conscious.

I don't have all the time and energy to elaborate but basically, here's how it went chronologically:

1. Dinner at Glorietta with friends
2. Walking and camera whoring around Greenbelt with the same company
3. Work, work, work
4. Enchanted Kingdom with sister and a family friend

I do need the diversion and I didn't miss a beat. Gawd, it was so much fun. And I'm proud I didn't call in sick at work in favor of my monkey business. I'm such a noble professional. Ugh.

I love it that I got to bond with my friends again. (Shey are you reading this?! Ugh. I think you missed one revolution of the earth. We had zo much fun, you know. Hahahah... I know, you're in a difficult time right now. I'm praying for you)

Greenbelt 5 is definitely uber chic and it was fun molesting the place with Joenessa and Yala. This place gives me more reasons to save up.

EK is well, enchanting. It's so awesome to be able to be a kid again once in a while. Too bad the Space Shuttle, the ultimate, ultimate thriller, was closed. Such a bummer. It was so fun nonetheless. I had wet underwear all the while thanks to the Rio Grande Rapids. It was a very full day, err, day and a half rather.

Watch me levitate, see us fly, get wet and cam whore all over the place. Here's why the batteries of my camera got 100% drained:

Me and friends at the new, super plush mall Greenbelt 5

Hitting up premiere theme park Enchanted Kingdom right after work

Did you observe how my mouth opens when I jump up? Hahahahh... Gawd, that was a looong, fantastic day.

Rendezvous

(I just got from work and I have a splitting headache. I'm not sleepy enough to catch some decent Zs though so here we go.)

I met up with this guy the other day who turned out to be another asshole, AND(!) I didn't realize he was actually my "first" until I finally saw him come into the door. Of course the prick didn't remember me but I told him about it until he was able to recall that night when he hit on me in an Internet cafe.

Anyway, to cut the story short, we didn't have sex because he is a lame ass effeminate psycho with fugly toes (nice toes = my fetish). It's okay though since the only reason I invited him over anyway is because I've been having the itch for days and it's been weeks since I got it on and I think I've been re-virginized already. It's fair game since I think the lost of interest was mutual. So yeah, I'm quite glad it didn't happen. Otherwise, it would've been another hook-up I would've regretted 3 seconds after shooting my jizzle manizzle.

Busy Bee 2

So where were we? Aah… So after I got another dissatisfying haircut, I left Gateway and went back to my Aunt’s house.

3 PM- My cousin, Aunt, sister and I together with my Aunt’s friend went to Duty Free. I love how everything is priced in dollars but are actually cheaper than those in the mainstream market.

Late lunch at Kenny Roger's-- rib sandwich with fries.

Saturday Night – 11:30 PM

I went out with my cousin since he’s been bugging me to go out that particular night. I didn’t really have anything to do so to Greenbelt we went. First, we hit up Ice Vodka Club where some girls were whoring it up to some foreigners. We only had 1 drink each and decided to wander around. On our way to Greenbelt 1, we saw Gretchen Baretto (Filipino celebrity) and I must say that she does look pretty in person and seems to be very slim and tall.

Anyway, if you have any chance, you should check out the newly opened Greenbelt 5. It’s amazing. I love, love the place and the interiors; especially the lighting fixtures—fantastic. I wonder who designed those. This part of Greenbelt is not fully operating yet but there are a couple of restaurants that are already in business. I haven’t tried any of them yet but I read some reviews and I hope I can my make own comments about the food there soon after some food tripping. Bang and Olufsen, Gaupo (Filipino designer), Balenciaga and Marc by Marc Jacobs are just some of the stores that I know will be occupying this precious space anytime soon. High-end much? Absolutely. Better start filling those piggy banks.

Back to the night-out, after Ice, cousin and I went to Temple . I don’t have anything against tweens and twinks, and I mean I did go out quite a lot myself when I was in high school but sometimes I just can’t stand the sight of these 15 year-old girls in fuck-me heels and with 1-inch make-up and baring barely there bosoms. I’m sure some of these kids barely have pubic hair and I bet they can well give Paris Hilton a run for her money. Oh well, it’s quite entertaining actually. The last time we dropped by Temple , there was this plump girl lain on her girlfriends’ arms with what seems to be puke all over her dress. I love it.

And just as I thought the High School Musical didn’t fail to show up especially it was actually prom night—the girls were in their in dresses while the guys rocked the suits. But enough of this under-aged partyphiles. Ugh.

I like Temple because of the music and sometimes because of the crowd too. That particular night, I just embraced the music while dancing by myself on the second level taking random sips of my complimentary Baccardi Sprite. I also like this place because smoking is strictly prohibited inside, something Embassy and other clubs I hope would be implementing as well.

At about 2:30 AM, we decided to call it a night and headed to Starbucks to refresh.

Saturday night but technically Sunday dawn - 3:00 AM – Cousin 1 and 2 and I pigging out while waiting for my sister to arrive—she also went out with her friends.

This is why I’ve been getting fat.

02.10.08 - Sunday

Woke up at noon with a slight hangover. At around 2 PM, I accompanied my cousin to Robinson's Galleria for a little shopping. I I think he trusts my taste and it's flattering and all until he buys the stuff you actually want for yourself (No he didn't). Yup, there's this striped burgundy and white shirt I was eyeing on during my last trip to Topman, and guess what, he bought the damn thing. Ugh.

Anyway, after walking around, we grabbed a bite at Plato Wraps at the food court. Anyone who hasn't tried this goodness is missing a lot. We love it, I love it, you'll love it. Start with the chunky chicken. Yummers.

Still Sunday, around 3PM

I've been to The Fort only twice but I've never been to to the High St adorable kids reet part. I went there to meet up with a great pal Rica. The place is beautiful. Seriously, even the restrooms are nice. I absolutely love it. It's like a park complete withplaying, and even more adorable dogs being walked, high-end shops and fancy restaurants. This is my kind of outdoor.

The pictures don't give it justice.

Anyway, as usual, Rica and I shared stories and talked non-stop. We ate at this nice place called Balducci. It looks like a place where people eat their steaks and salads with vinegrette but for some reason we had pizza. How chic. Hahahah...

Appetizer: Complimentary bread with butter or salsa or liver spread. Yes, that mocha cream looking thing is liver spread and it's good.
Rustica Mozzarella - I've had better slices at Sbarro. The otherwise so-so food seemed tastier because of the interesting conversation.

After Balducci, we hit up Conti's for dessert--my treat because she'll be celebrating her birthday the following week.

Banana Cream Torte - Winner!
New York Cheesecake - Second Best.
French Apple Pie - It's ok.

Got back to my Aunt's place at 11PM. All in all, that was an awesome night too even though by this time my pocket was getting a lot thinner. All for good times.

02.11.08 - Monday

On the last day of my four-day break from work, my sister and I went back to the condo then did the groceries. I capped off my weekend with a super scrumptious dinner of tocino and canned tuna.

V Day '08

Hearts Day is around the corner. This is like Christmas but more exclusive for lovers. Ugh.

The other night, when a friend/officemate and I were on our way to lunch (McDonald's), I saw this straight couple "canoodling" outside the fast food joint. I felt like shooting both of them in the head.

JK!

Just remember; no glove, no love. If you don't want your belly swelling by July or get herpes, use some rubber. Then again, that's really your prerogative. Who am I to give this public service advice anyway, I've had my reckless moments myself. Oh well, whatever works for you.

Happy Valentine's Day!

P.S.
A shout-out to my new links, manilagayguy.com and pinoygayblogs.com. Keep it alive people.

Busy Bee

I'm a little exhausted. My social calendar has been jam-packed since Friday. It's supposed to be a good thing but not when you're spending uncontrollably on food and beverage that will surely go directly to an already bulging tummy and clog the arteries. It's disgustingly enjoyable. You know, like sex in a public place.

No work for me for 4 straight days because of the schedule change; my new rest days will be Sundays and Mondays. Enough about work though.

I don't exactly have the time to elaborate so I present to you, my super long weekend time line!

02.08.08- Friday morning:

I get off from work for the last day of that particular schedule which is also the last shift with my lovely teammates and supervisor. We originally planned to go Laguna for an overnight outing since we'd be in different teams by the following week but something unfortunately came up so we had to settle for another post-shift breakfast bonding at our favorite deli, Earle's.

I slept the entire day until 6 PM.

Still Friday, 8 PM onwards:

Dinner and movie date with Friends. We met at Starbucks Greenbelt after I was starting to fume looking for them all over the damn place. We watched 27 Dresses starring Katherine Heigl and hit up Cafe Breton afterwards. It was actually fun. The movie is funny, light and entertaining just like the people I was with.

I know Cafe Breton is more popular for their crepes but I opted to get a sandwich. I had chicken breast with mushrooms and asparagus on top of toast with a side salad. The dish had all this other herbs I didn't recognize but it was really good. It's very filling and definitely worth the bucks.

By the way, I didn't bring my camera so I don't have the pictures. Oh, and I also lost my Burt's Bees lip balm. I hate it. That was not cheap!

(Slept for about 5 hours)

02.09.08- Saturday morning:

Woke up with this agenda:

1. Deposit money (not mine) in bank
2. Get haircut
3. Get new lip balm

11 PM - Went to Megamall to deposit the money. I took the bus instead of my usual choice, the MRT, because it was a Saturday and I was not in the condition to be squashed by sweaty bodies and sweat like a pig even before I reach the mall.

First task, done!

I originally planned to get the same lip balm but I know there's no Beauty Bar in Mega so I went to Body Shop and got a different one. It's cheaper and the sales rep marketed very well so I decided to give it try.

As for the haircut, I really wanted to go to Piandre which is where I usually go but it was too far from the area and I didn't have time. I checked out David's for Rever and found out that that place is actually a bit more expensive, and the place isn't even that nice. Forget it. Fifteen minutes later, I'm inside the MRT headed for Gateway Mall trying not to breathe.

I went to Ménage for my well-needed trim. I've had haircuts here before and the thing I love about it is the ambiance. The service is okay but I don’t like it that they’re stylists always seem to be in rush. Ugh.

Anyway, I had another awful haircut. I don’t know why but I always get disappointed the moment I drag my eyes from the magazine I’m reading to the huge mirror in front of me to check out how I look. It’s like the stylists never get me you know. This is why I’ve had a couple of light arguments with some of them before. That time though, I wasn’t in the mood and I figured I’ll get it “fixed” next week or something. Besides, I was also in a hurry since I have to be back to my Auntie’s house by 2 PM.

to be continued...

Snapped

Current state: Fuming mega-bitch with a dash of murder.

I am fucking pissed right now. No, I'm seething. I wanna push my house mate off the building and laugh my ass off while his body falls from the 26th floor. What a bastard. I'm glad I gave him a taste of vitriol.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. I am wasting these words because I am so god damn mad and I can not contain it anymore. I swear I was shaking just minutes ago. Fuck dammit, some people are just so god damn shameless, stupid and full of bull shit.

Putang-ina.
