The future is bright and not in a Ke$ha-goes-wild-in-Forever-21 kind of way. Vibrant hues are having a moment outside of street style territory. I'm particularly drawn towards chartreuse and lemon, or even neon, yellow. Based on these pictures from Milan fashion week and the 2012 Primetime Emmys, I'm not alone.

I sure hope the rather risque shade continues to pop out more in the future. It's one good way to brighten up a dreary day or even a boring red carpet.
