My gawd! Last weekend was so freakin' insane! It was super fun albeit tiring. First, yours truly is now working the day shift acting as one of the (tor)mentors of the newbies at work. Then, my very, very good friend Shey came over from Iloilo for 2 days of debauchery--more on that next time when I have all the photos uploaded. Lastly, I almost shit my pants yesterday when I found out the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the biggest daily in the country, published my article under their Youngblood section!It really is a dream come true because I've been a big fan of Youngblood since high school. I have all the three books. I've never been confident enough though to actually submit an article, until about two weeks ago.
I wrote the article way back in January/February for our office blog but it never got published for some reason. The next thing I know, my former supervisor and a colleague were congratulating me upon entering the office yesterday morning.
It sucks that I never got a copy but my father is a subscriber so there's one at home. Ugh. I'm so ecstatic about it.
